The 11 PM slot at Third Gate Escape is the most requested time we have, and it is almost never booked plain. It gets booked with the highest scare level and the live actor added, which our players have nicknamed the double scare. Same 70 minutes. Same house. Completely different night.
Secrets happen after dark. That is the whole reason the last game of the night fills up first.
Before we get into it: Don’t Look Under the Bed is a 2026 Best of Las Vegas nominee, the awards program hosted by the Las Vegas Review-Journal. What is the 11 PM game at Don't Look Under the Bed?
It is the final start time of the night for our haunted escape room in Las Vegas. Your group gets the house to itself for 70 minutes, room to room, with the Butler in there with you the entire time.
Every game at Don’t Look Under the Bed includes a live actor. The second actor is the add-on, and at 11 PM, almost every group adds it.
What does "double scares" actually mean?
Two things stacked on top of each other:
- The highest scare level. You choose your intensity when you book. Most groups going in at 11 PM choose the top setting, which means the house does not ease you in.
- The added live actor. The Butler is already yours. Adding the second actor means you are never sure which direction the next moment is coming from.
One is a haunted house you are solving. Both together is the version people warn their friends about.
No one touches you. They don't have to.
This is the question we get most often before a late booking, so here is the direct answer: our actors never touch you. Not at 11 PM, not at the highest scare level, not ever.
What they do is worse. They watch. They wait. They get close enough that you feel the room shift, and then they let you decide how bad it is going to be. You will scare yourself far more efficiently than anyone can scare you.
This is not a haunted maze
A haunted maze pushes you through a hallway in about 15 minutes and hands you off to the exit. You are a body moving through a line.
Don’t Look Under the Bed is 70 minutes inside a real haunted house, room to room, with a story you have to unravel while it happens to you. It is the only 70-minute escape room in Las Vegas. You are not watching the movie. You are in it.
